Kiarie revealed to the eDaily that his life changed after the reports with many people following him wanting a portion of the millions.
“many people followed me – including gangsters who would call me to inquire my whereabouts. i think my competitors in the public transport business made up the story to scare me,” Kiarie said.
He further denied making such colossal amount of money saying that due to technological challenges, his registered company only makes about 30 speed limiters per month which he sold at Sh 20,000 each translating to Sh600,000.
“If I deducted production expenses, including labour and capital, I made less than half a million in a month,”Kiarie clarified.
