The push to have retired Anglican Archbishop Eliud Wabukala to take up the job at the troubled
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has taken another twist. Jubilee's clandestine meeting with Wabukala to force him to be the next IEBC Chairman after Isaac Hassan flopped terribly.
The meeting which took place at Wabukala's home in Sirisia, failed to take off after all the Jubilee MPs who were scheduled to meet the man of the clothe failed to turn up. MPs Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East), Bonface Otsula (Bumula), John Waluke (Sirisia), Emmanuel Wangwe (Navakholo) and Bernard Shinali (Shinyalu) were among those expected to meet Wabukala to force him to take the IEBC job.
This comes even as Wabukala had earlier rejected the offer saying he wants to retire peacefully.
