gubernatorial seat in 2017.
"I am moving from being a civil servant to being a politician," Waiguru said at a Press Conference held at TNA headquarters in Nairobi. "I am cut for the task, [and] with God ahead and the support of the people of Kirinyaga we will make it" Waiguru added.
Waiguru';s announcement has sparked a fierce debate on social media with many Kenyans asking how TNA can allow a thief to join the party and declare her bid for the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat.
TNA is a party associated with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
