Kiambu Governor William Kabogo surprised many Ruto supporters when he said that Ruto will not become the next president of Kenya and should start sorting himself out early.
“Ruto and I are friends and as such I am entitled to tell him the truth. The conversation for 2022 presidential elections should begin now,” said Kabogo.
Kabogo insisted that the fact that the Kalenjins supported Uhuru in the 2017 General elections does not guarantee Kikuyus will vote him come 2022.
" Central region is a big block and may end up splitting it votes should Meru Governor Peter Munya, Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki and DP Ruto all choose to run for the presidency" added Kabogo
